Significant in this release:
- VBA is no longer required to use CAD Pack with AutoCAD
- Elevation views have been removed
The elimination of dependence on the VBA Enabler was the primary focus of this release. The VBA Enabler, delivered by Autodesk as a way to run VBA applications in recent versions of AutoCAD, caused significant performance problems on 64 bit computer systems. All CAD Pack utilities which previously used VBA have been rewritten and no longer require the VBA Enabler to be installed. If you installed the VBA Enabler to use CAD Pack in the past, you can safely remove it via the Windows Control Panel.
Note: Other 3rd party tools may still require the VBA Enabler. Do not remove it if you're not sure.
